　　The Chilean Pavilion for the World Expo Shanghai 2010, was an important issue for the country, it was the 3rd time that Chile participate in a World Exhibition. One per century: Paris 1889, Seville 1992 and Shanghai 2010.

　　2010年上海世博会的智利馆是智利举国关注的重要事件，这是智利300年来第三次参加世博会，前两次分别是1889年巴黎世博会和1992年塞维利亚世博会。

　　The Lighting Design –DIAV- was part of Team for the Concept proposal from the beginning, together with the Architect –Sabbagh Arq-, the Exhibition Script –Rodrigo Bazaes- and the producer –árbol Color- leaded by EOL.

　　该项目的灯光设计团队DIAV，从一开始就作为整个项目团队的一部分，与建筑设计等单位一同探讨项目的设计概念。

　　This World Expo was dedicated to the city “better cities, better life”. So the Concept of the pavilion was created as a positive proposal to question the isolated way we are building our cities and concluding that the reason for the city to exist, is to be together, exchange, meet and embrace your people.

　　上海世博会的主题是“城市，让生活更美好”，为此，智利馆的设计概念对我们孤立的城市建设进程提出质疑，“城市之所以存在，是为了去团结、交流、面对和拥抱她的人民”。

　　The pavilion was a walk thought different situations, starting from isolation in the modern city, going through a vacuum seed where the people start to meet virtually and finalising in the main space, the square of encounters, where was the bar, restaurant, the tree of sound and the Antipodes Pit.

　　从与世隔绝的现代城市一直走，穿过一个真空的大“种子”，最后到达主广场——人们真正可以交流的地方——你可以看到吧台、餐馆、智利“声音之树”和“神奇深井”。
