Mikie Resort - Berastagi, Medan

　　Mikie胜地——Berastagi,棉兰

　　Mikie Resort comprises of a Hotel and Funland which has the distinction of being the first family theme park in North Sumatra and whilst the attractions have plenty of decorative lights, the owners felt that the entrance to the hotel needed lighting enhancement in order to draw attention to the venue from the main road. The scope of work was to include the façade, the entrance, the driveway and the car park. This entire project was lit using LED, The driveway has conduit mounted blue LEDs mounted on the kerbstones in order to cast beams across the drive, (we were not allowed to cut into the kerbstones) , these succeeded in producing low level lighting without glare, The car park was lit using High power white LED bollard lights placed on islands between the parking lots, these fixtures were chosen in order to alleviate light spill into the hotel which has a glazed wall facing the car park.

　　Mikie胜地包括一个酒店和快乐园，成为北苏门答腊的第一个家庭主题公园，同时拥有大量装饰性灯光景观。业主认为酒店的入口处需要通过增强照明来吸引主要道路上更多人的关注。照明设计工作的范围包括建筑立面、入口处、车道和停车场。整个项目都用LED点亮，车道上安装了管道型蓝色LED，安装在侧石周围是为了使光束可以穿过驱动，(我们不允许切入安装在侧石周围)，这些都可以成功地创造出没有眩光的低位照明。停车场使用了大功率白光LED进行点亮，在停车场之间的岛屿放置了护柱灯，为了避免光泄漏到停车场有釉面的墙面而采用了这些设备。

　　The entrance posed a lot of problems as we could not cut into the stone, the only piece that was easy was the façade as there were planters at the base of the walls. The client wanted a colourful entrance so the first treatment was to highlight edges of the split level freeform canopy using flexible LED strip, this was followed by uplighting of the canopy to bounce light back down to the walkway. The original idea was to light the structure but due to the constraints imposed by the columns, we could not achieve a symmetrical appearance to the lighting and therefore opted to light the canopy. Finally as a safety measure we put in step lights.

　　因为入口处我们不能切成石头，所以带来很多问题，唯一容易的部分就是建筑立面，因为这里的主墙底部种植了很多植物。业主想要一个色彩缤纷的入口处，所以第一次解决方式，就是通过灵活自由地使用LED光带，强调和突出边缘的分割水平，随后就是照亮树冠，并反光回人行道。我们最初的想法是照亮整个结构，但由于一些限制性约束，我们不可能实现一种平衡的照明现象，所以选择了照亮树冠。最后，我们的照明分成多个阶段，作为安全措施。
